For the first anniversary of our KITCHEN we invite our friends to spend a pleasant day with us. We will prepare an unforgettable BRUNCH based on fish dishes resulting from the fusion of Japanese and Spanish culture. The artist Eduard Pagès will teach us the ancient art GYOTAKU which consists of the impression of fresh fish on handmade paper.

Music selected by our favorite DJ GONZO.

Food by our CHEF Giuseppe Longobardi.

Beer and sake at will offered by our sponsors: Asahi Beer and Tokyo Ya.

For registration to GYOTAKU courses, write an email to info@slowfoodkitchenbcn.com

[Gyotaku (Japanese 魚拓, from gyo "fish" + taku "stone impression") is the traditional Japanese method of printing fish, a practice which dates back to the mid-1800s. This form of nature printing was used by fishermen to record their catches, but has also become an art form of its own.

Gyotaku is a Japanese method of printmaking that traditionally utilizes fish, sea creatures, or similar subjects as 'printing plates' in its process.]
